Over the years its been very rare that we at Ghosts-UK ask anything of our members however we’ve been made aware of a charity event which we feel needs your support!
With special guest Dr Ciarán O’Keeffe from Most Haunted!
We’ve all lost someone we care about, in the last 5 years alone I’ve personally lost over 5 people I know and love, three of my close family members passed away from some form of cancer. Lets make a difference and lets help raise some funds for worthy cause.
Even if you can’t make the event I’m pretty sure you could make a small donation direct to the charity for this event.
And now I’ll pass you over to Tim Brown from the Paranormal Investigation Group Sussex otherwise know as the P.I.G.S.
Date: Saturday 8th May 2010 Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Don’t forget our special guest is Dr Ciarán O’Keeffe from Most Haunted!
Do you dare to spend the night at Explosion – the museum of naval fire power?
The location is Explosion – the museum of naval fire power in Priddy?s Hard, Gosport. Explosion is the award winning museum of naval warfare created within 18th century buildings at the Royal Navy?s former Armament Depot.
Sightings of ghosts have been reported over the years at the former Armaments Depot, where Explosion is now based. Historical research has uncovered 12 deaths in the 18th and 19th centuries. Sightings of many of the unfortunate souls have been rumoured by former workers of the Royal Navy Armaments Depot. It has been reported that the stain of munitions worker Edward George Mc Bride who was killed in a blast in 1922 reappears on the wall of the room that stood directly over the site of the explosion.
Your challenge is to spend the night in this haunted location to try and encounter paranormal activity. The experience includes a tour of the location, use of ghost hunting equipment and an overnight investigation. You will be joined by a psychic medium and Dr. Ciarán O’Keeffe. Dr. CiaránO’Keeffe is a lecturer in parapsychology and TV paranormal investigator in Living TV?s ?Most Haunted? and ?Jane Goldman Investigates? where he provides a sceptical voice and regularly battles with all manner of mediumistic communication. You will also be joined by experienced paranormal investigators The Paranormal Investigation Group of Sussex (P.I.G.S).
How to Enter
This event is open to those aged 18 years and over. Places on this event are strictly limited so book yours now to avoid disappointment.
Entry Fee: £20 per person
Minimum Sponsorship: £115 per person
The entry fee covers the cost of staging the event. This ensures that all sponsorship raised supports our lifesaving work.
Sponsorship
The individual to pledge the highest amount of sponsorship on the night, will receive a signed copy of ?The Great Paranormal Clash? by Dr Ciarán O?Keeffe and a signed autograph, a month?s free membership to Fareham Leisure Centre as well as 1 free Family Swim Voucher (Family swim voucher for 2 adults and 3 children) during public swimming times.

Halloween’s passed and you thought it was all over, well your wrong as here comes another paranormal event, perhaps even the event of the year.
Make-A-Wish Foundation® have teamed up with Fright Nights to bring you what could be the paranormal event of the year raising funds for a charitable cause.
I was contacted by Francesca Towson today whom was looking to promote this good cause, now although I’m no fan of commercial companies such as ‘Fright Nights’, I still see and understand the need to raise funds and whom better than Make-A-Wish foundation®.
Anyway she wanted me to post a press release so here are the details from their website.
Oh one last thing, if you can’t make their event, then why not consider just donating direct to them, every penny counts, if you do manage to attend their event you’ll have a hard decision to make, and that would be which on of the fantastic locations to go.
For one night only, 15 allegedly haunted locations across the UK will be taking part in a unique and truly hair-raising event.
Make-A-Wish, in association with the Fright Nights Team, invites you to come along to one of the following locations and take part in the first-ever competition to find the UK?s Most Haunted Location.
Each attendee will join experienced mediums and clairvoyants, with their help and with the use of authentic ghost hunting and psychic equipment gather information on haunting activity from each site, which will be collated to identify the UK?s most haunted venue.
The exciting night will be taking place on Saturday 15th December 2007 across the various locations as follows:

Just another Paranormaltimes.co.uk weblog
Can be changed to something of your liking, this is a tag line, a slogan and can be anything you want it to be. You can make these changes in your admin area, just click on the ‘Options’ tab, and make sure your in the ‘General’ sub-ta, you’ll see the options in there.
Every new site that is created has some default info generated, just to show you what it could look like, one of the default parts is ‘Links’ you will notice that it adds links to Paranormal Times and SJBowers, if you want to remove these just go into your admin area, click on the ‘Blogroll’ tab and you can add or remove links there.
Don’t forget you can also change or delete the first post it’s comments and the about section. You can also create as many pages, blogs and posts as you wish.

We’ve only just launched Paranormal times and have so far had an influx of spammers, which means we’ve had to change the way some of our free services work.- New websites won’t be shown on our front page any longer
- Updated websites won’t be shown on our front page any longer
- Tutorials have been delayed whilst we deal with spammers.
+ We will now show all the latest PT news on the front page as a content filler.
We’ve made these changes to ensure that if someone signs up to create a spam site, they will not be seen on our front page, allowing us to deal with these freaks of nature behind closed doors, well ok partially closed, as you can still see through the gaps
Active Blogs
You will only show in this block if you are one of the more active sites, this is determined by how many blogs you make.
Recent PT Blogs
Everytime you make a blog you will be shown in this block, however your first 5 blogs/news releases will not be shown, this is another way to tackle spammers, as most only make one or two posts.
